Statements (BI Publisher): Beautiful Customer Statements
Overview:
Our customer required Statements (Receivables) to be created in Adobe Acrobat Reader (PDF) format utilizing BI Publisher technology. The customer had multiple operating units and requirements for conditional display of sections within the output e.g. "Overdue" notice.

- High definition output with Logo, framed address for insertion to windowed envelope, remittance advice section.
- No need for pre-printed stationery
- No changes to Statement Generation program.
- Easily update BI Publisher templates in Microsoft Word to change output of Statements.
- Sample output created in Microsoft Word by customer can be used directly as source for development of working template.
- Use of BI Publisher gives easy capability to extend functionality in the future to use Bursting for Email/Fax/Custom delivery channels
Key Decisions:
- Standard Oracle Statement Generate program chosen to generate data.
- BI Publisher chosen to develop templates.
- Sample output of required statements created by customer prior to engagement.
- XML Report Publisher request used rather than Modification to Statement Print report
