Weiling leads the Virtuate team from a functional/accounting perspective. Her attention to detail, solid knowledge of GAAP fundamentals and global implementation experience with Oracle Applications provide the basis for her to be a top notch resource.

Weiling's primary area of study at university was Accounting. As a fresh graduate and keen worker she jumped into Financial and Management Accounting roles in Malaysia and New Zealand, which led being accepted as a Chartered Accountant of New Zealand in 1996. With roles at the likes of IBM and Toyota, she picked up systems knowledge and experience with ERP packages such as JD Edwards and Business Planning Control System (BPCS). Further on down the track she shifted focus and took on the Oracle Applications suite. Her ride with Oracle Applications gave Weiling implementation and upgrade experience in Asia and Europe, with customers in a number of verticals.

At Virtuate, Weiling enjoys the interaction with the Developers and Customers, and advises them on the Oracle eBusiness Suite functionality and accounting considerations. Responsibility for testing the solutions being produced falls on her shoulders, and quality assurance is one of her key objectives. Weiling also assists with day to day operations ensuring she always has a full plate.

Besides her passion for Accounting and Finance, Weiling loves to cook - she cooks a mean curry and ain't afraid of any type of chilli! Throw in the TV, tuned into the FoodTV channel and you have one of Weiling's favourite combinations. She has recently found an interest in dancing Salsa and says she needs to hit the shops to make sure her wardrobe is up to the standard! Weiling is happily married with 2 children and would love to take the family travelling to visit some of her favourite spots - oh, and of course make use of the high New Zealand dollar in those shopping destinations along the way.
