Jimmy has a hands-on development role at Virtuate, and is responsible for ensuring that the solutions developed meet and exceed our Customer's expectations. With a bright personality, a broad background in software development techniques and varied range of industry experience, Jimmy is a highly valued and respected member of the Virtuate team.

Jimmy has over 24 years programming experience, with 16 years experience implementing and supporting the Oracle eBusiness Suite, focusing on the Financial and Distribution modules. Jimmy is an extremely capable resource given his extensive Oracle skills and excels in providing high performance, targeted solutions in quick time.

From his beginnings as a Cobol and BASIC programmer, when bits were bits and bytes were bytes, through to the complexities of J2EE and multi tier architectures Jimmy has maintained his technical focus. However, working with a variety of industry verticals and sectors, Jimmy has picked up a thorough knowledge of Finance, Accounting and Project Management principles along the way. As a very personable character, he also maintains an excellent relationship with colleagues and associates and is always keen to keep in touch all those he has worked with.

In his spare time Jimmy jokes (along with many of us) that his second job is that of Taxi Driver, taking his kids to a variety of events. When he's not writing software or in his car Jimmy can often be found in front of the TV watching Chinese epics and martial arts movies.
